New Book Voyageur Skies Featured at Dinner

A discussion of Don Breneman and Mark Seeley’s new book Voyageur Skies will be the main attraction at a dinner tomorrow at the University of Minnesota. VOYAGEUR300

Breneman, an author and photographer, and Seeley, the former Minnesota State Climatologist, will be featured at the event which is co-sponsored by the Voyageurs National Park Association, the Bell Museum, and the University of Minnesota Alumni Association.

Voyageurs National Park Superintendent Mike Ward will also give a presentation on the park at the event.

Voyageur Skies chronicles the seasons in Voyageurs National Park through Breneman’s photographs, while Seeley explains the effects of weather and climate on the shaping of the park’s landscape.

The event takes place from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., Thursday at the Campus Club, 403 Coffman Memorial Union, 300 Washington Ave. SE, Minneapolis, 55455. Reservations are required and can be made by calling 612-626-7788.
