Voyageurs National Park has 16 campsites on the interior of the Kabetogama Peninsula. The park is considering a reservation system and fee for these campsites and is welcoming public input on the proposal. Of the 16 campsites, 11 have boats; there would be an added fee for sites with boats. Please see the attached press release from the National Park Service or read more about the Park’s proposal HERE>
The public is invited to learn about and comment on the Park’s proposed fee and reservation system for the new tour boat and the interior lake campsites and boat rentals on the Kabetogama Peninsula. Voyageurs National Park Superintendent Mike Ward will host a presentation about the proposed changes, and will open the floor to public comments and questions.
