Non-ferrous mining in Minnesota will be the topic of an afternoon-long discussion hosted by the Minnesota Environmental Initiative on September 15.
The forum titled, “Non-Ferrous Mining in Minnesota: What are the issues and opportunities?” will be held in the North Star Ballroom in the Student Center at the University of Minnesota – Saint Paul. The event will feature discussion by a variety of experts and stakeholders about regulations, economic impacts, and environmental concerns related to mining operations proposed for northeastern Minnesota.
