The Minnesota House of Representatives Mining and Outdoor Recreation Policy Committee held an informational hearing yesterday (no legislation was being considered) on the issue of new mine proposals in northern Minnesota. The room was packed, and several activists and journalists were tweeting out reports and reactions.
