The Voyageurs National Park Association will celebrate its 45th anniversary with Le Fete du Voyagers on Tuesday, July 27th. The “Celebration of the Voyageurs” will also commemorate Voyageurs National Park’s 35th year of existence as a National Park.

The evening will include remarks by Forrest Flint, the Chairman of the VNPA Board, and Mike Ward, the Superintendent of Voyageurs National Park. Former Voyageurs National Park Artist-in-Residence Raymond Klass will give a photo presentation and John Driscoll, also known as Jacques le Voyageur, will talk about the history and culture of the parks’ namesakes.

The public is invited to the celebration, but RSVPs must be received by Tuesday, July 20. Space is limited. Cost for the gathering, which includes a walleye “shore lunch,” is $35.
