Shovel Point at sunrise – unforgettable North Shore fall color hike

A short hike to watch the sunrise from Shovel Point at Tettegouche State Park. The sunrise itself was spectacular. I’m happy to report that quiet and solitude can still be found—even during the fall color tour season on Minnesota’s busy North Shore—but especially if you head inland toward Ely.
